Hibberd Intermediate School Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Arrival Procedures (school opens at 7:55, school day begins 8:28)

Car Riders—Drop off at main entrance Door #1

Bus—Drop off will be in the back of the building

Breakfast: Students eating breakfast will report to the cafeteria. When students are finished eating, they will report to assigned area. Student who are not eating breakfast will go directly to assigned area.

3rd & 4th: Rm. 104 (Music Room). Teachers will pick up students for class.

5th-8th: Gym (please be seated in the bleachers). Students will be released with the bell.

Dismissal Procedures (school releases 3:15 MWThF, Tues. 2:34)

Car Riders—Pick up at main entrance Door #1, please single park at the curb. The left hand lane will be for cars pulling around.

Walkers—Released from Door #1

Bus—Pick up will be in the back of the building

Basic School Information

School Start Times:  The official start time is 8:28. The building will open at 7:55 for breakfast. Dismissal time is 3:15. Tuesday early dismissal time is 2:34.

Car and Bus Delivery and Pick Up:  Our front parking lot provides a safe circular drive for car delivery and pick up.  The right lane of the circular drive is for student drop off.  The left lane may be used to pass through to the exit.  Students are to be picked up in the circle and not walk out to South L Street to be picked up.  Please do not park in the circular drive!  Parking is available on the west side of the front parking lot and on the upper lot.

Buses will continue to pick up and deliver on S. J Street, at the back entrance.
